Alpha gamer
This week i worked on getting the projectiles to collide with the enemy using the spacebar to fire them and having A and S as the 2 keys to move side to side. This week I did mainly focus on getting the game to look that little bit nicer instead of having the plain battlefield in the back. I simply downloaded some assets from the unity store and tried to make the scene look a little better.
I did struggle a little bit this week with getting the enemies to take damage and figuring out how fast pace the game should be. I did plan on it being a quick arcade style game. I did not reach all the goals I wanted to do last week with getting an intro and outro to the game unfortunately. This has been difficult to make and I am running into so many coding problems with mixing different tutorials and just not really understanding what I am putting down but I am getting the game to slowly work
Hello Luke, It looks like your game is coming along great so far and that you have been getting loads of work done so fair play to you on that, I also plan on making an into and outro to my game I will most likely make a start menu and end credits or something or maybe even just a start menu so I can have something in there and I think a start menu just looks good and is a must even if the games small but at the end of the day the main things to be done and focused on is the game mechanics, I like how your game is turning out and look forward to seeing the finished project so best of luck man. :)
