Game Design.
Summary-
The main objective of this game is to kill as many enemies coming at you as possible before they take away all of your health. The end goal is to reach level 5 as the waves get harder
Gameplay -
Similar to a classic plants vs zombies games
Technical.
Screens -

Controls -
Controls will be basic (a and s) to move side to side and (spacebar) to shoot projectiles
Level Design.
Areas -
The areas in the game will be very simple. I will need to make 1 area of gameplay but if I can make another in time I will. But the main gameplay area I will make a outside field
Game flow -
1.Game starts
2.First easy level enemies come out
3.Defeat enemies in every level
4.If step 3 is completed the user wins
5.If user fails step 3 the game will end
6.Restart

ReplyDeleteI was a big fan of Plants Vs Zombies growing up so this game seems really cool and I can't wait to be able to play it!
After each level ends, will there be more and more enemies that come out or will the number of enemies stay the same? I think adding more each round will make the game a bit harder as it goes on.
Will guns be the only weapons you have or will you add different options? I think having different options will keep the player engaged with the game.
Love the idea and can't wait to see the final product!

ReplyDeleteI really like the Idea you have for your game. Use to love playing Plants Vs Zombies when I was younger, wasn't the best at it though I really like the idea of the game getting progressively harder after each level. I was wondering how would you do this possibly by increasing their health, speed or amount of damage they give to the player. Really looking forward to seeing the end result.
